RE/MAX has announced the hiring of Jerry Modes as senior vice president, Information Technology, and Kerry McGovern as vice president, Communications.
Modes, who has more than three decades of experience, is charged with RE/MAX’s internal IT operations and membership data infrastructure, as well as the ongoing development of data-driven RE/MAX products by booj, which RE/MAX acquired in February 2018. Along with his experience, Modes co-founded two successful technology companies, Teradata and HyperParallel.
McGovern, formerly with Under Armour, will manage RE/MAX’s internal and external communications, including public relations and social media. Prior to Under Armour, McGovern was senior director of Communications and Media at Drizly, Inc., and director of Communications at the National Hockey League (NHL).
“Jerry and Kerry are very strategic thinkers who have impressive track records in their respective fields,” says Adam Contos, CEO of RE/MAX. “They’ll each play a crucial role in the long-term advancement of the RE/MAX and Motto Mortgage brands as we strive to be the unrivalled leaders in our industries.”
“The coming year will establish the foundation for much more to come,” says Modes.
