NRT LLC has appointed Jamie Duran president of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Southern California, effective Feb. 1, 2019. Duran is succeeding Robert Foster, president of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Greater Los Angeles, who is retiring. In assuming this new role, Duran will be president of Greater Los Angeles, as well as continue in her current position as president of Orange County, Riverside County and San Diego.
“We are grateful to Bob for his outstanding contributions to Coldwell Banker, where he has been a champion of the company and widely respected by agents and peers across the nation,” says M. Ryan Gorman, president and CEO of NRT LLC. “Jamie is the ideal leader to guide these powerhouse companies to make an incredible impact in the region. I wish both Bob and Jamie much success in their endeavors.”
“I am thrilled to be invited to lead our Southern California companies under our new structure,” says Duran. “My return to Greater Los Angeles on the heels of massive marketshare growth over the last few years in Orange County and San Diego is strategic. We are leaders in not just the real estate industry, but also real estate technology platforms, agents, services and consumer trust in our stable brand. Stability and strength in a changing market is what agents and consumers count on, especially now.”
Duran began her career with Coldwell Banker in the Greater Los Angeles market, spending 10 years in Studio City as an agent, assistant manager and regional education director. She then served 12 years as branch manager in Ventura and Studio City before becoming the district manager and later the regional vice president in the Inland region. She was promoted to president of the Orange County/San Diego company in 2014.
Foster is a more than 40-year industry veteran. Prior to being president of the Greater Los Angeles region, he was COO of Coldwell Banker’s Southwest region. He is an award-winning agent and branch manager, and was awarded “Manager of the Year” more than once.
