Long & Foster has been awarded one of 20 Global Chinese Choice Awards by Juwai.com, China’s largest real estate website, for its China-focused marketing. The brokerage was named “Best U.S. Real Estate Company.”
The awards were given following four months of nominations. Winners were chosen in part by Chinese consumer online voting. A nine-judge panel, including executives from the Alibaba Entrepreneurs Fund and Noah Holdings, made the final selections.
“Winning an award from Juwai means so much because Juwai is an unmatchable guide and partner in China,” says Erin Chen, director of Asia Pacific Initiatives at Long & Foster. “We are tremendously excited that our hard work and investments in working with Chinese buyers is paying off and we are having such success.”
“If you can make it in China, you can make it anywhere,” says Carrie Law, CEO of Juwai.com. “Chinese buyers are the most motivated, biggest-spending and savviest cross-border buyers in the world. No other market is as fast-paced, competitive and remunerative as China. For Long & Foster to win this award, including the online vote by Chinese consumers, shows that their hard work at cultivating a brand and relationships in China is paying off.”
“Like the other winners, Long & Foster stands out as the very best in the world,” says Georg Chmiel, chairman of Juwai.com, who was one of the award judges. “The 20 winners represent an incredible diversity in terms of location, category, and even business model. They have in common an unmatched understanding of—and commitment to—Chinese consumers. They have managed to overcome challenges in terms of language and of distance by using technology to assist them in cross-border selling, and they stand out in terms of Chinese consumer loyalty, as manifested in consumer online votes, search patterns and transactions.”
The awards were given at a gala this month in Shanghai.
