5 Spots in Your Bathroom You Should Be Cleaning

While the toilet and counters are likely already getting a weekly wipedown, there are other spots in your bathroom that are often forgotten. Below are five prime bacteria-ridden spots you don't want to miss.

The walls. You likely mop the floors, but how clean are your walls? Once every other month, take a mop to the walls to clean any bacteria, dust or mold building up.

Your toothbrush. There's no point cleaning your teeth with a dirty toothbrush. Every other week, soak the end of your toothbrush in one part rubbing alcohol, one part water for an hour. Give it a rinse and you're good to go.

Your loofah. Loofahs left to dry in the shower are a prime spot for bacteria. Keep yours clean by soaking it in a diluted bleach solution, a vinegar solution, or toss it in the washing machine on a gentle cycle.

Your tiles. Hopefully you're already giving your tiles a wash, but sometimes scuzzy tiles need more elbow-grease than you can muster. For cheap, you can order a scrub head online that attaches to a power drill. Just pop the head on your drill, choose your favorite cleaning solution, and blast grime from your tub, shower and tiles.

Your liner. Tired of manually cleaning your plastic shower liner? There's an easy solution: take the liner off and toss it in your washing machine.
